Eve Ellenbogen & Benji Rothman
Eve Ellenbogen & Benji Rothman are both North American Jewish comedians, but the similarities stop there. Chilled out and dressed like a Gap mannequin, Benji can make funny even the most banal subjects, like playing Bridge with his grandmother or getting his first pedicure. Eve, on the other hand, was kicked out of Hebrew school at age 14 for swearing at the teacher, and she’s been talking dirty ever since.
In Dirty/Clean, Eve and Benji do their best 20 minutes of dirty/clean material (guess who does which!), and then, after they’ve finished, the two swap jokes, with the audience choosing which of each other’s bits they perform.
